So, I am completely mentally worn out. I’m not quite sure why, but I’m going to figure it out. So here is some ideas to ponder, some actions to think about and some thoughts to run through your head.
Let’s start with the simplest of all: watching life with a different idea. So let’s say that you always see life as living day to day, not really caring about what your life will be like in 1 year. You are “closed minded” in a sense that you only see the world in one way. Now, think about how you would live your life differently, if you saw it in a different point of view. For example, try putting life into a timeline, and the only day that is filled out is “today”, and you want to see what you can make everyday be like for the next year. It’s like tracking your progress on your goals. Try living your life for you to be a better you, and not to see who you can beat or impress at work or school after lunch. See your life as a goal of who you want to be. Now, I’m not saying, go and wish your life away, live your life only for the future and keep waiting for the next thing in life. I am saying to make goals for yourself, think about who you will become, and try to understand what the future may hold for you. Live in the present, but remember the future.
Next, we’ll close in a little on a certain thing, called the “people around you.” It’s not everyday that you see a random act of kindness, and it’s not everyday that you perform a random act of kindness. However, it’s not a bad thing to look out for it. 1. Try it. Try acting kindly to the people around you. You’ll never know how much they needed that encouragement or hope. 2. Look for it. Look for those who are acting kindly. Open your eyes to new people. If you keep watching the same people, likely, you’ll fall into their trap and if they aren’t always acting kindly, you won’t either. So, be brave, be courageous, be encouraging and BE KIND. There are people all around you who work extremely hard to make your world a better place and they often get no credit. It’s time we look out for those who look out for us. The people around you need your help and advice, just as you need them.
One last thing, a simple “thank you,” or “well done,” or “have a good day,” or “don’t forget to laugh,” changes someone’s day. And changing someone’s day can change a life and perspective of life. So, give it a shot! Make someone’s day! Even if you’re exhausted, or having a bad day. Also, those who love you, ought to understand, so don’t hesitate to tell them what’s going on!
